Festival Diaries: Daisy Dames

It’s the last day of our festival diaries!

Feminine and fresh: our inspiration for today’s outfits. Denise & I thought that these matching sets were so cute that we had to match together. I like matching with my best gals at events or festivals, and I don’t think it’s corny at all! The pastel colors combined with the daisy print makes our outfits look so refreshing, and would be great to wear under the scorching hot weather. The bikini top and circle skirt adds a playful touch—you can even wear this on a beach day!

P.S. It’s Denise’s birthday today so go wish her the happiest birthday!!!

Festival Diaries: Trippy Hippie

Today’s look is inspired by some of your classic festival outfits.

When it comes to festivals, comfort really is key. If you’re the type to dance your butt off to live music, you have to wear something that doesn’t restrict you from doing so. Also, it is ridiculously hot the entire time and there’s gonna be lots and lots of walking. Did I convince you to dress comfortably yet? Ha-ha. But seriously, I can’t stress this enough. I guess I’m not the type to chill at festivals; instead, I like exploring and partying in full effect! And a cute top and a pair of shorts can never go wrong. Anyways, I was going for a gypsy look with my peasant-inspired top, fringe shorts, coin belt, and flower crown. The fringe on my shorts makes me want to shimmy all day long.

Festival Diaries: Ethereal Beings

We are exactly one week away from Coachella and my excitement just keeps on growing! The desert is hot and humid so I tried staying with the lightest color palette as possible for my outfits. And as much as I love black, it’s just not gonna pass! Ha-ha. This outfit is inspired by wanting to feel light and airy, just like a fairy frolicking about the grounds of Coachella. Festival Diaries: Spring Fling

We’re yet another day closer to Coachella, which means…more outfit inspirations, the better! Our outfits are inspired by spring colors and Easter being around the corner. Pastels are fun and flirty—perfect for a celebration. I love the color lilac but I rarely wear color, and Coachella is the perfect time to do so. If you know me well, I always try to darken any outfit possible so I added all-black accessories to this look. How cute is this fringe backpack I’m wearing?! You’ll be seeing me rockin’ it everywhere I go because I’m totally obsessed with it as of late.

Festival Diaries: Poolchella

Coachella is only about a week or so away and I am beyond ecstatic! This year is special because I teamed up with my girl Denise Gen and our friends at Tobi to showcase a festival-inspired lookbook. I told myself after Coachella last year that I will be more prepared with my outfits this year—and most importantly, have more fun with it. And what better way to have your gal pal with you?! Our outfits are inspired by the poolside parties, or simply put, wearing less clothes because we’re in the desert!

We have more outfits coming your way, so stay tuned! We can’t wait to hear which outfits will be your favorite. Don’t forget to check out Denise’s blog!

Sweet Secrets

Laced With Secrets Dress from Tobi / Heels from Zara

This laced ensemble is what I would wear on a romantic getaway. Nothing is sweeter than this dress from Tobi. The black lace detail over nude is sexy without the need to show some skin. You’ll leave your guy swooning over you, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

For now, it’s my last day showcasing my Tobi looks. I had fun showing ya’ll how easy it is to find different and great finds to reinvent my style for the year, or to simply just have fun with it!

What style did you like me in best? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Street Chic

Macey Lacey Shorts from Tobi / Backpack from Lamoda / Necklace from Sparkles & Pop / Shoes from Cici Hot

Leather is a staple in my closet. It gives my outfit touch of toughness, and I like that. These pair of shorts from Tobi is the perfect match with your favorite basics for a minimalistic look with a bad gal twist. I love the lace detail on the sides to add some femininity. This is what I would call my uniform – monochromatic outfits are my daily wear.

Urban Gypsy

Spring Awakening Romper from Tobi / Braided Choker from Sweet1985 / Thigh High Boots from Lamoda

Today I’m channeling the inner gypsy in me. Spring is upon us, which means we will see more boho trends. I’m really drawn to the bohemian style because of its carefree nature, and that’s the feeling I get in this romper. The dark purple hue stands out from the usual earthy colors, and the bell sleeves and lace detail accentuates the style. I can’t get away from low fronts because I love how it shows some skin. This choker is my favorite at the moment because it’s beautifully hand-crafted and Eco-friendly, which makes it so unique compared to other jewelry.

Pink, Please

Candy Coated Fur Jacket from Tobi / Bralette from Make Me Chic / Necklace from Her Fashion Box / Madden Girl Westmont Boot from Zooshoo / Disco Pants from American Apparel

Another day, another look with Tobi! I’m all glammed up on this fine Tuesday. This is probably the most pink you’ll ever see me wear. I’m not a fan of girly colors, but I saw this fluffy (cue in: “It’s so fluffy, I’m gonna die!!!” from Despicable Me) number and thought of giving it a shot. I love how it’s lightweight and comfy to wear. Knowing that my closet has barely any color, it gives my wardrobe a subtle pop of color. It has a blush pink color that would be great for a winter to spring transition outerwear. I'm big on neutrals and blush-as-neutral is trending right now! I wanted to toughen it up a little with my black disco pants and combat boots. What do you think?

Grunge Gal

Dark Secrets Bodycon Dress / Madden Girl Westmont Bootie from Zooshoo / Moto Jacket from Forever 21

Fashion is constantly changing, and us fashion-lovers are always on the look out for the hottest trends every season. With that, it is inevitable that our style evolves with time. That’s why I teamed up with Tobi to reinvent my style for the new year, while still staying true to my style. I came up with 5 different styles that makes up my personal style and I will focus on each one, each day this week! You will exclusively get the first look on my blog and Instagram. At the end of the week, I will ask my readers and followers which style they liked me in best!

Today I’m bringing out the grunge gal in me with the Dark Secrets Bodycon Dress. It’s daring with the see-through cutouts, and comfy with the stretchy material. Nothing else says grunge like layers and leather, so I paired the dress with my favorite moto jacket. I can run around town all night long with this outfit in my combat boots and slouchy knit beanie, to keep my head warm in this weather (and to hide my messy hair, of course!).

Stay tuned for more!

Green With Envy

The seventies is definitely one of my favorite fashion eras. Everything from flare pants, wild flower prints, jumpsuits, tunics and platform shoes that add 5 inches to your height. Grooooovy.

This jumpsuit is just perfect for fall and I love how it reminds me of the seventies. It has a fitted waist and wide bottom flare, with a warm earthy tone of forest green. The 70’s jumpsuit trend was to put a wide belt to give you that foxy figure, but no need for that because this jumpsuit already has a corset that hugs your body gorgeously.

The sweetheart neckline gives you a voluptuous shape; you’ll leave the boys swooning. I wore my platforms from Public Desire because it just emphasizes the seventies vibe to it. I added my coin bib necklace because it adds a bohemian feel and a floppy hat to top off the look!

Peace and love, ya’ll.

Plunge In

Hi everyone! So, I have this thing with plunging necklines lately.

Being a part of the itty-bitty committee, I can gracefully flaunt my chest area with plunging necklines. It makes me feel very bold and risqué, and I don’t even have to show much. I’m also not the type to like or wear girly colors (or any color for that matter), but I fell in love with this mauve color on the Melina Romper. Tobi is one of my online destinations for dressy occasions because you will find something you'll love, no doubt. They have a whole ton of styles and colors to choose from! Variety is always good. I love rompers and the style is flirty without being too girly. The color is a perfect mixture of powder pink and lilac, and the texture makes the color even more soft and feminine. I paired it with a silver coin necklace from Forever 21 and hologram strapped heels from Zara to give more edge and glam. Enjoy!
