Now that fall is officially here, sweater weather is upon us! We’ve been having chilly mornings and nights in LA, but some days are still warmer than others. However, I can’t help but get excited to shop and wear knits this season! I recently found this distressed sweater by Lovers + Friends at Revolve and I just had to get it. I’m obsessed with the slashed details because it gives just enough edge to the look. I paired it with my favorite leather skirt by I.AM.GIA to mix both soft and tough elements together. Unfortunately, this ivory color is sold out but it's available in black here.

My first Miami Swim Week was short and sweet, but definitely a memorable one. It was my first night in Miami and I wanted it to be special, so I put my favorite black maxi dress on to match my KYBOE! watch. Mine was black and bedazzled, and I love how it matches my style and aesthetic perfectly. I’m all about that edge and glam! My watch was from their Radiant Collection, which features watches that are adorned with Swarovski crystals. Stay tuned for my Miami Swim Week Recap next! For the meantime, you can shop the look below:

This summer heat has got me wanting to wear more color!

The summertime calls for more feminine and flowy pieces. I rarely wear color, but I’m really digging the dusty mauve shade.  This Bare Anthology top is feminine but still has a little edge to it. The sleeves create a nice silhouette to elongate the arms, and I just love how it flows to every movement. I paired it with my favorite short-shorts to balance the proportions. Shop something similar below!

It feels great to be back at Coachella, and I’m back with a bang in this killer outfit. I took these photos at their beautiful Rose Garden, isn't it pretty? Staying true to my style, I kept it edgy with cool metal details in both denim and suede. I wanted to break the bohemian trend we usually see at the grounds and went for a badass look! And when you’re wearing fringe, it just makes everything more fun. You bet I danced and twirled all day with this one.

Back to black

I either have two moods, and it’s either white or black, and for today’s post I’m wearing an all black ensemble. If you refer back to my winter outfits, I wore black almost every time. Now that it’s spring (and almost summer) I’ve been rocking white outfits lately, but it’s back to black with the gloomy cali weather we’re having. The lovely succulents give off that perfect summer vibe that it makes me want to go back to the desert!

Line 'em up

So let me tell you about this skirt.

This piece has my favorite styles in one because for 1) it has black and white stripes 2) it’s a maxi and 3) the double high slits! It’s chic but edgy and sexy without overdoing it. If were talking about optical illusion, it’s genius how the double high slits cut the horizontal stripes of the skirt. I added my low-cut wired top to add more lines to the illusion. My new chunky platform booties were necessary because I needed more height for the length of the skirt, while my choker lightens up the look a bit.

Grunge Gal

Dark Secrets Bodycon Dress / Madden Girl Westmont Bootie from Zooshoo / Moto Jacket from Forever 21

Fashion is constantly changing, and us fashion-lovers are always on the look out for the hottest trends every season. With that, it is inevitable that our style evolves with time. That’s why I teamed up with Tobi to reinvent my style for the new year, while still staying true to my style. I came up with 5 different styles that makes up my personal style and I will focus on each one, each day this week! You will exclusively get the first look on my blog and Instagram. At the end of the week, I will ask my readers and followers which style they liked me in best!

Today I’m bringing out the grunge gal in me with the Dark Secrets Bodycon Dress. It’s daring with the see-through cutouts, and comfy with the stretchy material. Nothing else says grunge like layers and leather, so I paired the dress with my favorite moto jacket. I can run around town all night long with this outfit in my combat boots and slouchy knit beanie, to keep my head warm in this weather (and to hide my messy hair, of course!).

Stay tuned for more!

Plunge In

Hi everyone! So, I have this thing with plunging necklines lately.

Being a part of the itty-bitty committee, I can gracefully flaunt my chest area with plunging necklines. It makes me feel very bold and risqué, and I don’t even have to show much. I’m also not the type to like or wear girly colors (or any color for that matter), but I fell in love with this mauve color on the Melina Romper. Tobi is one of my online destinations for dressy occasions because you will find something you'll love, no doubt. They have a whole ton of styles and colors to choose from! Variety is always good. I love rompers and the style is flirty without being too girly. The color is a perfect mixture of powder pink and lilac, and the texture makes the color even more soft and feminine. I paired it with a silver coin necklace from Forever 21 and hologram strapped heels from Zara to give more edge and glam. Enjoy!

Effortless

I love a good view spot but never thought it would be the best place to shoot pictures at, especially at night. When Jeff (@yojefff) took me to a view spot to shoot an outfit, I was doubtful at first. But he proved me wrong, and I loved how the pictures came out! We also got to enjoy the view for a bit while shooting.

A little black dress is a must in your closet. This is the Rolling in the Deep V Black Strapless Dress from LuLu*s that I got awhile back. I love the sweetheart AND deep V neckline. The dress is simple, yet sophisticated. It’s the perfect little back dress that can be dressed up or down. I chose to pair it with a denim jacket to dress it down since I was going for a more casual look. The dress looks effortlessly gorgeous by itself, but I decided to wear a statement necklace to complete my outfit.

Dress: Lulu*s

Jacket: Thrifted / Shoes: Forever 21

Necklace: Urban Outfitters / Watch: Michael Kors

I wanted to give off a more edgy vibe for this second look, and the American Apparel disco pants does the job. I love how these pants fit me like a glove. It’s hard for me to find a pair of high-waisted pants that fit me well like these do.

I also love how effortless it is; throw on any top and you’re good to go! These pants never fail to grab people’s attention. So if you’re going somewhere and planning to make a statement, you should definitely get a pair.

Choker: Topshop / Shoes: Doc Martens

I told Jeff how I like wire fences so he took me to this spot:

This was actually the before picture when I broke the fence...

Ha ha, I'm kidding! I couldn't help but laugh after taking that shot.

Hope you enjoyed my first post!
