I’ve got a new appreciation for a good pair of jeans, it really does go along way. Can you believe I used to hate wearing them?

Gloomy days like today, I don’t feel like dressing up. I try to vibe with the weather so I look for something monochromatic and effortless! Manière De Voir brings these elements to their pieces and they have been my go-to on days that I don’t feel like trying (but still want to look like I did).

Nün Bangkok Festival

Athleisure takes Coachella!

For this year’s Coachella, I got the opportunity to partner up with Nün Bangkok!

Nün Bangkok incorporates edgy elements with comfortable and light weight garments—redefining athleisure to a whole new level. Each collection represents the strong and stylish woman, without having to sacrifice comfort. Each design is unique, with great attention to detail.

The pieces were perfect for the festival, standing out from the more bohemian outfits that we see there!

Talking about the festival, here are a few of my favorite performances:

Gallant: He put his heart and soul to each song and it was such a pleasure watching him – with surprise guest Jhené Aiko to perform Skipping Stones.
Snakehips: It was my 4th time seeing them live and they never disappoint, they just get better and better every time! They brought out Tinashe as a surprise guest for the song All My Friends.
Ice Cube: Probably one of the most sought out artists for this year – he brought out The Game, Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar!
Flume: The first time I saw him live was two years ago at Coachella 2014, performing in one of the smaller stages, so I was really excited to see him again this year! He brought out Vince Staples and Kučka to perform Smoke & Retribution, Kai for Never Be Like You and Tove Lo for Say It to end his set.

Needless to say, it was a great Coachella overall, and I can't wait for next year!

Silver Lining

Sparkly with a dark twist.

December is coming to an end, which means that the new year is vastly approaching (time flew fast didn't it?!). We have about a week to prepare ourselves for 2016. As we plan our NYE shindigs, party looks come into play.

The new year is your time to shine, so I believe that sequins couldn't be a more perfect fit for a NYE look.

Last year I wore a gold romper to match my blonde hair, but this year I know for sure I wanted to wear silver to match my new 'do.

Less is more

Reminding myself from time to time that less is more. I love accessorizing so much that sometimes I forget to appreciate a beautiful piece. For this outfit, I wanted all the focus on the shirt dress. I kept it minimal so that the smallest of details are highlighted: the flowy sheer material, the long slits and the silver rings on the sleeve. Simple, but sophisticated.

Maxed Out

Tis the season to bust out all the maxis in your closet! This number came in right on time: monochromatic palette, floral pattern, low cut, bare back, high slits with shorts in-seamed?! Sounds like the perfect maxi to me! What makes it more amazing than it already is: it flatters my petite body. It’s a struggle to find the right maxi for petite girls like me. Some fit extremely awkward with no body form whatsoever, but not this one! That’s probably why I’m so obsessed with it. You can even get away wearing it at night because of the dark color way.

Street Chic

Leather is a staple in my closet. It gives my outfit touch of toughness, and I like that. These pair of shorts from Tobi is the perfect match with your favorite basics for a minimalistic look with a bad gal twist. I love the lace detail on the sides to add some femininity. This is what I would call my uniform – monochromatic outfits are my daily wear.

Glitz, Glam and 2015

The new year is almost here!!! It's crazy how 2014 flew like a breeze. You know what they say, time flies when you're having fun...and working hard!

This past year has been good to me and I can't wait to see what 2015 has in store. I'm thankful for all the opportunities and experiences I encountered, and especially to those who has supported me all throughout the way. This coming year will be a great one and I can't wait to share it with all of you. So, cheers to the new year!

My last blog post of the year are my NYE outfit options that I shot with Ryan Chua (@ryanbyryanchua). It was the first time meeting and shooting with him but we already had an instant connection. I had so much fun! He shoots many fashion bloggers, and I'm not surprised because he's amazing at what he does.

So here are the photos and I can't wait to show you guys!!!

The first look is all black with lil bit of edge and a lil bit of sparkle. I wanted to balance off the glamorous look of the sequins with the roughness of my moto jacket.
