Keeping myself warm with a cool vibe in this olive bomber jacket.

Bomber jackets are one of the biggest trends this season, of which both men and women are rocking! It leaves a fresh, sporty statement while adding a powerful silhouette to your look. Not to mention, the bomber jacket is so easy to wear. Simply throw it over a tee and skinnies and bam! Instant chic.

The colder weather gives me an excuse to add more masculine pieces into my wardrobe, and this olive bomber has to be one of my favorites as of late. For this outfit, I paired my bomber with a white cropped halter and black skinny high-waist pants. Naturally, I stuck with a monochromatic palette so that the olive color stands out.

Grunge Gal

Dark Secrets Bodycon Dress / Madden Girl Westmont Bootie from Zooshoo / Moto Jacket from Forever 21

Fashion is constantly changing, and us fashion-lovers are always on the look out for the hottest trends every season. With that, it is inevitable that our style evolves with time. That’s why I teamed up with Tobi to reinvent my style for the new year, while still staying true to my style. I came up with 5 different styles that makes up my personal style and I will focus on each one, each day this week! You will exclusively get the first look on my blog and Instagram. At the end of the week, I will ask my readers and followers which style they liked me in best!

Today I’m bringing out the grunge gal in me with the Dark Secrets Bodycon Dress. It’s daring with the see-through cutouts, and comfy with the stretchy material. Nothing else says grunge like layers and leather, so I paired the dress with my favorite moto jacket. I can run around town all night long with this outfit in my combat boots and slouchy knit beanie, to keep my head warm in this weather (and to hide my messy hair, of course!).

Stay tuned for more!

Don't Break My Heart

Down For You Romper from AKIRA / Heartbreaker Set from Rocksbox / Shoes from Cici Hot / Clutch from Urban Outfitters

As promised, I’m back for some Valentine’s Day styling tips with my Heartbreaker set from Rocksbox! When I was thinking of V-Day outfit options, this romper caught my attention for its peplum detail. It’s feminine without overdoing it. I’m in love with the color, and the texture almost has a silky feel to it. I often opt for rompers because dresses bore me at times. Just like icing to the cake, the Heartbreaker set completed my outfit, along with my black heels and clutch to pair it with. The black and gold tones compliments the rich burgundy color that the romper has. You can get my set here, and get a $50 surprise gift in every box. How exciting! And if you're in SF and Manhattan, you can purchase a set as late as February 12 with a guaranteed delivery by Valentine’s Day! Thanks to their on-demand 2-hour delivery.

The Heartbreaker

It’s the first of February! And you know what that means… Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I was given an opportunity to team up with Rocksbox for the perfect Valentine’s Day jewelry.

Rocksbox is changing how women discover and shop for jewelry: to give women the chance to enhance their style with a wide selection of jewelry, carefully handpicked and sent directly to their doorsteps. I am very picky with what I wear, as well as my jewelry, so I was kind of skeptical with the whole idea at first. However, I was very impressed with my first set! So basically, here’s how it works:

Sign up here and take the style survey so the stylist knows what kind of jewelry you fancy. Then you receive three handpicked pieces of designer jewelry—a necklace, bracelet and earring (a whole set!). Super easy and ultra stylish – for only $19/month.

So if you haven’t found the perfect set of jewels for Valentine’s, you can purchase this very set here. Stay tuned for more and get the first look of how I styled my Rocksbox Valentine’s Day set.

Dark Bloom

I love wearing floral numbers, no matter what season. They’re so timeless. Wearing floral prints definitely brings out the boho girl in me. The floral patterns in grey scale are my favorite part of this dress from Chaser. It’s a different take on colorful florals in the spring or summer time. No doubt you’ll feel very feminine with its soft chiffon material, fully lined. But I love how to dark color balances that off. If you don’t know me already, I’m a sucker for low fronts and backs. So this just adds to my collection.

I brought out my coined belt dusting in my closet (can’t believe I haven’t used it in a while!) to give me a little bit of shape. And the time has finally come that I brought out my Steve Madden knee high boots! Last but not least, a floppy hat and dainty accessories as finishing touches.

Green With Envy

The seventies is definitely one of my favorite fashion eras. Everything from flare pants, wild flower prints, jumpsuits, tunics and platform shoes that add 5 inches to your height. Grooooovy.

This jumpsuit is just perfect for fall and I love how it reminds me of the seventies. It has a fitted waist and wide bottom flare, with a warm earthy tone of forest green. The 70’s jumpsuit trend was to put a wide belt to give you that foxy figure, but no need for that because this jumpsuit already has a corset that hugs your body gorgeously.

The sweetheart neckline gives you a voluptuous shape; you’ll leave the boys swooning. I wore my platforms from Public Desire because it just emphasizes the seventies vibe to it. I added my coin bib necklace because it adds a bohemian feel and a floppy hat to top off the look!

Peace and love, ya’ll.

Plunge In

Hi everyone! So, I have this thing with plunging necklines lately.

Being a part of the itty-bitty committee, I can gracefully flaunt my chest area with plunging necklines. It makes me feel very bold and risqué, and I don’t even have to show much. I’m also not the type to like or wear girly colors (or any color for that matter), but I fell in love with this mauve color on the Melina Romper. Tobi is one of my online destinations for dressy occasions because you will find something you'll love, no doubt. They have a whole ton of styles and colors to choose from! Variety is always good. I love rompers and the style is flirty without being too girly. The color is a perfect mixture of powder pink and lilac, and the texture makes the color even more soft and feminine. I paired it with a silver coin necklace from Forever 21 and hologram strapped heels from Zara to give more edge and glam. Enjoy!

Effortless

I love a good view spot but never thought it would be the best place to shoot pictures at, especially at night. When Jeff (@yojefff) took me to a view spot to shoot an outfit, I was doubtful at first. But he proved me wrong, and I loved how the pictures came out! We also got to enjoy the view for a bit while shooting.

A little black dress is a must in your closet. This is the Rolling in the Deep V Black Strapless Dress from LuLu*s that I got awhile back. I love the sweetheart AND deep V neckline. The dress is simple, yet sophisticated. It’s the perfect little back dress that can be dressed up or down. I chose to pair it with a denim jacket to dress it down since I was going for a more casual look. The dress looks effortlessly gorgeous by itself, but I decided to wear a statement necklace to complete my outfit.

Dress: Lulu*s

Jacket: Thrifted / Shoes: Forever 21

Necklace: Urban Outfitters / Watch: Michael Kors

I wanted to give off a more edgy vibe for this second look, and the American Apparel disco pants does the job. I love how these pants fit me like a glove. It’s hard for me to find a pair of high-waisted pants that fit me well like these do.

I also love how effortless it is; throw on any top and you’re good to go! These pants never fail to grab people’s attention. So if you’re going somewhere and planning to make a statement, you should definitely get a pair.

Choker: Topshop / Shoes: Doc Martens

I told Jeff how I like wire fences so he took me to this spot:

This was actually the before picture when I broke the fence...

Ha ha, I'm kidding! I couldn't help but laugh after taking that shot.

Hope you enjoyed my first post!
